Ruby is a fun loving, attentive, sweet girl. She was surrendered by her lifelong owners to a local shelter due to food allergy and cost of care. Ruby previously lived with a male dog, cats and children. She is selective with other dogs and has shown interest in fosters cats, so will need time and proper intro if she were to go into a home with either. Ruby loves people and would prefer to be the center of attention. She is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a no pull harness and knows several commands. She is very athletic and would excel as a sport dog, possibly flyball or dock diving. She loves water and playing fetch and did great on a camping trip. She learns quickly and is very willing to please. If you are looking for an active, loving dog with huge soulful eyes, Ruby may be your girl!
